What is the difference between the Sunset Cruise and the Passaporto Cruise?
The only difference is the time of the cruise. The Sunset Cruise is during the last hour of sunset and the twilight time.
What is the cost for children?
We do not charge children under 3 years old when accompanied by an adult.
What does a gondola cruise include?
We have ice buckets, glasses and wine openers. You may bring a beverage if you like. We have blankets on the boat for you and Italian style music playing on the boat. Please see our packages page for more information.
Do you provide wine?
Select wines are available for purchase or guests are invited to bring their own. We provide ice buckets, glasses, and a bottle opener.
Can I bring food?
Yes, however, we recommend finger foods, as utensils are difficult to use on the gondola.
How long is each cruise?
Each cruise is 50 minutes.
Where does the gondola go?
Gondola cruises depart from 503 Grand Caribe Causeway, Suite C and travel through the canals and waterways of the Coronado Cays. The Coronado Cays is a small community about four miles south of Coronado Village.
Is my cruise private?
Yes. Cruises are private for you and your guests. A gondolier is always on the boat.
What is the best time to go?
There is no one specific time we consider the "best time." We offer cruises from 11 am to midnight. Most people choose to go in the evening. You should choose a time that works well with other plans you may have for the evening. Choose a time for which you will not be late.

Are you open all year?
Yes. We are open all year except New Years Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and days when the weather does not cooperate.
Will the gondolier sing?
There is Italian-style music playing on the boat. Traditionally the gondolier does not sing, however, some of the gondoliers may choose to sing a song or two. Song and quality are not guaranteed.
How should I dress?
There is no dress code on the gondola. We recommend a light jacket or sweater. High heels are not recommended.
Does the boat ever tip over?
No. Life jackets are on board per Coast Guard regulation.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes. Reservations are required.
How do I make a reservation?
Call 619.429.6317. A name, a phone number, and a Visa or MasterCard number are required. If you do not have a credit card, you may prepay in person at our office or send a check or money order by mail. In some cases, a deposit or full payment in advance my be required.
Can I make a reservation online?

Do you charge my credit card when I make a reservation?
For most cruises, the credit card number is to secure the reservation only; we will collect payment after your cruise. Some of our packages, however, require a deposit or prepayment.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
For most cruises we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. You must let us know if you need to cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before your cruise time or the full amount of the cruise will be charged to your card. Note: The Musica Cruise, the St. Valentino Cruise, and the Sunset Valentino Cruise all have cruise specific policies. Please see packages page.
What if it rains?
Please call for weather conditions. It frequently does not rain in Coronado when it is raining in other parts of San Diego. You may still want to go on a cruise. If you want to reschedule, our 24-hour cancellation policy is not in effect. You may reschedule at your convenience.
What if I'm late?
If you arrive late for your cruise, it will end as previously scheduled so as not to delay the next scheduled cruise. We advise arriving 10 to 15 minutes early.
Do you sell Gift Certificates?
Yes. Gift Certificates are available for the Passaporto Cruise, Sunset Cruise, and Musica Cruise. You can pick one up at our office or order one over the phone. For phone orders we will need the following information: Your name, phone number, mailing address, and a Visa or MasterCard number.
How long are Gift Certificates valid?
Gift Certificates do not expire.
